Birthday Treats
Today is my birthday - and I'm telling you that not to fish for good wishes, but to justify my diet.
I went to the gym in lieu of breakfast/in preparation for lunch, which was prawns with chili minced pork and asparagus (from Szechuan Gourmet), preceded by a small cup of wonton soup, accompanied by a small cup of steamed white rice, and followed by two large cookies (and I mean LARGE, but shared with a friend!), one oatmeal raisin, one chocolate chip walnut, from Levain Bakery, and a nibble of a chocolate almond brittle from Jacques Torres.
Dinner will be non-existent, though I'm going out for a beer.

Welcome Back!
The aromas of Thanksgiving and the nostalgia of New Haven have proven to be a combination too strong to ignore. Get your food games up.
My breakfast is a staple, so you'll be seeing a lot of this:
Bacon, egg & cheese sandwich on an English muffin and two packs of Raisins & Spice instant Quaker oatmeal. Water.
